Layover in Detroit

So, when I built this blog, I guess I assumed that every post would have at least one photo. And that probably won't be a problem once I get in Florence, but taking photos in airports in kinda lame. Still, I did manage to snap a few photos in Detroit.

I left Pittsburgh around noon eastern time for a really quick flight to Detroit. I think it was just about thirty minutes. Detroit's airport is pretty big – they actually have an exposed Monorail inside the terminal which is pretty cool. It was a pretty quick layover though, so I didn't have much time to explore. I managed to grab a bite to eat before boarding my seven-hour flight to Amsterdam. I will have some more time once I land there.
