The Market

Yesterday, Adriano took us over to one of the two main markets in Florence where there are countless stands of fresh produce. Today, we visted one of the markets for lunch. I took a lot more pictures on my phone, but my phone is currently out of commission. I had a pesta ravioli and some pasta with red sauce for lunch.

We also ended up walking past the city hall on our way to our next tour. Much of the area was blocked off because Florence is hosting the Festival of Europe. Today, leading international figures were engaged in The State of the Union where they would discuss European progress and development.
