The Last Supper

After presentation this morning, I literally fasted all day to prepare myself the CAPA closing dinner that we were having tonight. It was going to be at the same place as the welcome dinner, Osteria die Pazzi, so I knew what to expect.

It was an awesome night filled with absolutely delicious food. Because I came hungry, I was able to manage the meal much better this time around, and I knew to pace myself throughout the night. I also took pictures of everything which are included below.

The appetizers included bruschetta, prosciutto, stuffed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and tomato, grilled mushrooms, zucchini and parmesan and sharp cheese and jam. We then had three pastas: a ravioli stuffed with some sort of meat, pesto and a red sauce, before a sinful dessert of tiramisu. The tiramisu was absolutely incredible – by far the best that I have ever had.
