The Leaning Tower

After class this morning, we headed right over to the train station for our first weekend excursion. About seven of us ended up traveling to our first stop: Pisa. From what we were told, Pisa is a really quick trip. And by the time we got there, I realized that this was in fact the case. The be honest, there is not much to do in Pisa aside from visiting the iconic Leaning Tower. Don't get me wrong, the bell tower is awesome – as is the cathedral – but, the town itself is nothing to write home about.

We did have some fun creating some photographic illusions. It felt a little bit like "real life photoshop". And It's even funnier to watch the long line of people standing with their hands up from an alternative angle.

As a sidenote, the weather hasn't been great. It hasn't necessarily poured, but it has certainly been overcast with some sprinkles of rain. It seems as if we brought Pittsburgh's weather to Italy, but apparently they have been having an unusually rainy spring.
