La Fiorita

This morning I attended La Fiorita, an annual event that commemorates the execution of Florentine friar Girolamo Savonarola. After the Florentine tradition, I headed over to the Central Market to browse with some friends. That place really never gets old. This time, we saw some stuffed pasta being made (pictured below). Really cool stuff.

Later that evening, a group of us headed over to the train station – the departure location for our three day FlorenceForFun trip to the Amalfi Coast.
