Today we had our first urban studies course, I ate a lambretto sandwich, crossed the Ponte Becchio bridge, went on an incredible Renaissance tour of Florence and ate an authentic Italian dinner.

After our morning lecture, we split up into a couple of groups for lunch. I ended up getting some pizza with spicy salami on it at a small shop near a piazza. It was fantastic. Similar to the simple panino, pizza only ever has one topping letting you focus entirely on one flavor. After walking around for a couple of hours during our break, we headed back over to CAPA for a Renaissance tour. The tour was fantastic. The dinner we had tonight provided by CAPA was absoultely incredible. Unfortunately, I can't remember everything that we ate, and I only took one picture, but I'll do my best to recreate the experience.
