Today, we had a midterm exam for our Global Studies course. After the exam, we finally made a visit to the Galleria dell'Accademia, a museum in Florence that includes a collection of religious paintings, carved altars, musical instruments and the iconic statue of David carved by Michelangelo in 1504.

I walk past the Galleria every day on my way to class from my apartment. Aside from Mondays (the museum is closed on Mondays), there is always a long line. Luckily, we received a museum pass from CAPA, so we didn't have to wait as long as the general admission tourists.
